Sri Vani Education Centre, Basaveshwaranagar Branch, conducted BAGLESS DAY activities in various fields for the students of (III-X) Grade as per the guidelines of NEP 2020. These activities are designed to foster creativity, teamwork and experiential learning among students.
Exploring creativity through Art Work:
- Jute thread,
- Paper Bag making and
- Glass painting on OHP sheet
The school also arranged Educational Field Trip to develop scientific fervor in students, to places like:
- JAWAHARLAL NEHRU PLANETARIUM,
- GANDHI KRISHI VIGYANA KENDRA – UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE, A RESEARCH INSTITUTE,
- THE VIDHANA SOUDHA.
- A guest lecture was conducted on Rockets and Satellites by Sri Raghunatha Rao, a retired ISRO Scientist and Professor.
- Financial Literacy session was organized with support of HDFC Bank on Integrating Financial Education in School Curriculum for Grade VI and VII students. The students got a thorough knowledge in BANKING.
- Group games organized for students as a part of Bag-less Day activities. The Girls’ Volleyball team and the Boy’s Cricket team had a spectacular match, which captured the intensity, skill and excitement of the players.
