Accolades

We would need a book to begin to do justice to the staggering number of awards & recognitions the Vani family has bagged over the years. On this page, we bring to you some of the jewels in our crown.

Pictured above is one of the numerous All India Radio Awards won by Vani students for Choral Group Singing & accepted by Smt RH Usha on behalf of the School in 1989. We won the ACT Award at Times Playfest Organised in November 1997 conducted by The Times of India Group. Our Star Swimmers Deepa Guruswamy & Anushka Dwivedi have won numerous laurels for the school in swimming over the years. Cadet Pranathi S bagged 1st Place in Essay Competition at the NCC Combined Annual Training Camp. In January 2020 the team from Vani comprising of Samrudh R and Saket Kulkarni won the second prize pitted against 178 Groups at the Budding Scientist Contest organized by The Hindu in School. Nanda Kishore V of the 2017 Batch of Sri Vani PU College got selected with SPG Japan during a recruitment drive.

The list is endless and ever-growing as our talented students are constantly showing their mettle.

National Award For Teachers

In 2005, the then Principal Shri Shama Sundara Sharma was bestowed the ‘National Award for Teachers’ given in public recognition of valuable services to the community as a teacher of outstanding merit by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
