On 30th, August,2025 we conducted a Mock Union Parliament Session to help Class X ICSE students to understand the structure, working, and responsibilities of the Indian Parliament. The event was organized by the Social Science Department as part of experiential learning under the Civics curriculum.
The purpose of the session was to give students a hands on experience of how the Indian Parliament functions and to promote awareness of democratic processes, debates, and law-making procedures.
Students took on roles such as Prime Minister, Opposition Leader, Ministers, and Speaker. Key bills, including the national budget and agricultural reforms, were discussed and voted on, following proper parliamentary procedures.
The session featured lively debates, realistic protocols, and active participation. It enhanced students’ knowledge of democracy and strengthened their public speaking, leadership, and teamwork skills.
The event was a successful and enriching learning experience, made possible by the support of school Social Science Department.
