Various workshops conducted to commemorate our school’s Sixty Years of Founding

A Music Workshop was organised by an eminent Konnakkol Artist Vidwan Sri Somashekar Jois who is also a Vaniiate, on Saturday the 20th June at 10 am in our Rajajinagar Auditorium. This is a part of Sampradaya Ethnomusicology to mark World Music Day. Students from all three campuses actively participate in the workshop.

Konnakkol Somashekar Jois is a naturally talented and accomplished artiste, making definite strides to reinstate the ancient art form of Konnakkol, into the main stream of Carnatic Classical music. Several notable concerts performances at prestigious music organizations. Distinguished as a forerunner in accompanying well-established Carnatic Classical Vocal and Instrumental artistes during full-fledged concerts.

MAGIC OF THOUGHTS AND IMAGINATION WORKSHOP

This was organised on Saturday the 18th July between 10 am and 1pm at Rajajinagar campus. This was conducted by Green Tara Sanctuary, Kalashree Anand-Energy Healing & Mindset Coach, Deepthi Murthy
Carnatic Classical Music Therapist and Manu Praveen-Art Educator & Therapist.

Workshop mainly focused on:

• Understand and regulate their emotions
• Build confidence and self-awareness
• Develop healthier ways of managing stress and anxiety
• Improve focus and emotional resilience
• Strengthen creativity, communication and emotional expression
• Experience mindfulness through music, art and reflective practices
