Let us ‘Celebrate the Spirit of Sports!’ was the theme followed by the students of Basaveshwaranagar Branch. The Annual Sports Day was celebrated on 12th October 2023 with great enthusiasm.
The sports ground was overflowing with zeal, passion and excitement. The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest. The event opened with a glorious and well- synchronized March past of four Kuteeras.
The chief guest of the day took the salute from the young marchers walking with pride on the field, and was ceremoniously welcomed by our Principal, Ms.Seema Gaur, our Physical Education Masters, the School Pupil Leaders, along with our NCC Sir, Scouts and Guides Teacher and the School Band . The event was declared open by releasing of the balloons by our students. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the lighting of the torch, followed by the Oath Taking Ceremony. The Chief Guest enlightened the students by her Words of Wisdom.
The programme started with a Welcome Dance, Exuberant drill and Athmanirbar Bharath Drill.The students from the Nursery Section to Grade X displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy drills, Zumba Dance, Gymnastics.These bright and spectacular drills added splendor to the day. Once the track events began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.
Winners of individual as well as team events were awarded with certificates and medals.The proud parents could be seen filled with happiness to see their children taking part in various sports activity and also performing cultural event.It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
The Sports Day ended with the Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.WOW! WHAT A STRENUOUS DAY IT WAS!
